Lili Estefan, also known as “La Flaca,” welcomed President Barack Obama into her home in Miami. Along with her husband Lorenzo Luaces, she hosted a fund raising event for the Democratic National Committee. Since he was re-elected in 2012, this has been the 27th fundraiser he has done for the party.

There were more or less about 25 people in attendance, each person paying $32,400 to be able to attend the event and take pictures with the President himself. During the event, the people that were present asked President Obama to end immigrants’ deportations.

President Obama’s approval rating has never been as low as it is now, he is not in high demand on the campaign trail this year. Obama remains the party’s top moneymaker when it comes to fundraising.

His next fundraiser will be held at Alonzo Mourning’s house, ex- Miami Heat NBA star. 75 are expected to attend this event. Obama will be joined by House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, DNC chair Rep. Debbie Wasserman and three other Democratic House Leaders.

If you were wondering what President Obama was doing at Lili Estefan’s house, well now you know!
