A.B. Quintanilla was released from jail and is now "enjoying some tacos" according to his father Abraham Quintanilla. In a new Facebook post, Selena's father updated his followers that his son was at home now. "For all those that were misinforming on social media that A.B. was in jail for a long time NOT TRUE," he wrote. "He is at home enjoying some tacos. Its very clear how you find out who the real friends are and who your enemies are. I am keeping a list." The text was accompanied by a photo of father and soon in front of a computer "checking where the hurricane is in Louisiana."

According to court documents from the 13th District of Texas Court of Appeals, the Kumbia Kings star was granted release on August 29 for lack of evidence. "We will conclude that the commitment order is void because it was not supported by evidence establishing that relator violated the terms of community supervision," the document states.

A.B. was arrested on August 16 after a hearing where he agreed to pay the full amount of child support he owed, including any attorney fees and unpaid medical expenses. "The trial court indicated that it would accept the agreement but nevertheless found that relator had violated the terms of his community supervision and ordered him immediately committed to the county jail 'for 180 days, or as further ordered by this Court,'" the document states.

At the time of his arrest to Univision's "El Gordo y La Flaca" reported that Quintanilla could've faced 2 years in prison. The reason for the latter was because at the time of booking officials noticed that "A.B. was under probation for a crime he had committed years ago." Due to him violating the terms of his probation and committing another crime, he would now have to finish his sentence in jail and could cost him 2 years of his life. The show also reported that the sibling of the "Queen of Tejano" would not be eligible for bail and that the whole situation had him on the verge of a nervous breakdown.

A.B. had landed on the Most Wanted List for falling behind child support payments. Quintanilla failed to appear in court two weeks ago and finally made it this week and during the hearing, he agreed to pay more than $130,000, that included $87,000 in retroactive payments to the mother of of his child, Summer Clay.

Judge Missy Medary ordered to take A.B. into custody and take him to prison where he would think about his responsibility as a father and the rights of his child, according to KRIS. "I am going to have you sit in the jail, and I want you to think about two things," said Medary. "I want you to think about your responsibility as a father, and I want you to think of the rights of your child."

The 53-year-old musician was in Florida when news broke that he was wanted by law enforcement. "I have seven children with different women and two marriages," he told TVyNovelas. "Why is it that only one of them is doing this? I can't talk too much about it because I have to wait for when I go to court. They did this to me when I opened a high-end nightclub and when I closed it the media found out because I am a known person. I don't deserve what's happening to me."
