Angelique Boyer has broken her silence following the death of her mother Sylvie Rousseau. The "Lo Que La Vida Me Robó" actress took a minute to speak to the media waiting for a statement during this difficult situation. A very physically distraught Boyer can be seen emotional, but thankful for being respectful during her mourning of a very important figure in her life. "There's not a lot to say," Angelique told reporters. "Today the love of my life has left and it's something we didn't expect. My warrior who always fought has left and fought for many days, but I never thought of saying this. Thank you. Thank you for not asking more. Thank you for not turning this into something ugly and always being respectful." Watch the heartwrenching interview down below!

News of the death of Boyer's mother broke yesterday morning as Juan José Origel on "Hoy" announced the sad news. Rousseau had been battling with cardiac complications for weeks and had undergone several surgeries. Boyer's mother had just been practiced an operation on June 11, where she remained in intensive care, then transferred to a different hospital where she ended up dying. Earlier this month the French-born actress had asked her Twitter followers for O-positive blood as her mother was in dire need of it.

Production of the Televisa soap has had to halt filming after the recent events. Origel mentioned on the show that Angelique had been in the studio recording scenes and at the end of her call, she went to her mother's side. Now it is being reported that Angelli Nesma and her crew will have to alter the productionschedule to accomate Boyer as she goes through this difficult situation. "Lo Que La Vida Me Robó" is close to wrapping up in the coming weeks. The telenovela that also stars Sebastián Rulli and Luis Roberto Guzmán ends broadcast in México on Sunday, July 27 in a special two-hour presentation.
