Bachelor in Paradise
Even though “Bachelor in Paradise” is only 2 weeks into the season, there are already some couples getting pretty serious in Mexico. Find out what couples make it out of paradise and what couple is reportedly engaged to be married! ABC

The second episode of “Bachelor in Paradise” premiered tonight, and with the new episode came a new man, with an alleged “questionable reputation.” His name is Chris B. and Elise has already declared after their first meeting, “he smells really good.” At least she is focused on the important things. Shockingly though his arrival, with a date card didn’t make too many waves, mainly because he asked Clare to go out on a date, which didn’t disrupt any of the established couples in the house. The week two couples are, Elise and Dylan, Graham and Ashley, and Lacey and Marcus. Speaking of Lacey, she seems to have already officially broken Robert’s heart, after receiving Marcus’s rose at the Week 1 Rose Ceremony, Lacey jumped the Robert ship and has since taken up with Marcus, they even hold hands on the beach! Robert seems truly devastated, almost so that I feel bad for him, and to add insult to injury Marcus gets a date card indicating something about “jungle love,” he asks Lacey to join.

Back to Clare and Chris’s date, he pretty much admits to being a mean guy, but states that once he finds the right person he will be the “most loyal boyfriend, husband, or whatever.” During their couples massage, Clare and Chris definitely have some chemistry, even before he massaged her with oil. Next up are Dylan and Elise, and this couple is not going to make it through paradise. Elise states that she is falling in love with him, however he states that he wouldn’t mind if Elise went out on a date with someone else in paradise. (Something, aka the promo video tells me this will not end well for Dylan)

The next date is with Marcus and Lacy, and after a really awkward house send-off, the pair enjoys a super romantic dinner date in Xacret, Mexico. After dinner, they explore and check out a cave filled with candles, which admittedly looks awesome. Marcus tells Lacy to make a wish, and she sweetly responds that her wish has already come true. I know I’m buying into the “Bachelor” magic, but I actually do really hope these two end up together. While their date was sweet, the drama back at the house was down right wild. After being rebuffed by Dylan, Elise decided to take up Chris on his offer and engaged in a super steamy make out in the ocean with him. By the way, Dylan is asleep for all of this.

Dylan woke up, and after telling Elise to go meet other people, he was mad at Elise for meeting other people. Elise is convinced that her hookup with Chris B. will only make their relationship stronger, however, Dylan looks annoyed and walks away after an awkward hug. Another guy comes, and his anme is Zack and he seems pretty genuinely nice. Once again Clare is asked out on a first date except she explains that this first date with Zack is different than the others she has been on during “Bachelor in Paradise.”

After the Elise and Dylan fall out, unsurprisingly Dylan gets a date card and instead of being mature and attempting to fix things with Elise, he instead chooses Sarah, using her as a pawn in this jealousy game. Sarah, understanding the awkward tensions, decides to first talk to Elise and eventually she decides to go out on the date with Dylan. Dylan and Sarah go out on their date despite bad weather brewing in paradise. The pair enjoys a nice dinner date, which ends with Dylan assuming/hoping that Sarah will give him a rose, but I don’t think he realized just how crazy Elise is about him. It will definitely be interesting to see if Sarah “betrays” Elise and goes for Dylan.

The next commotion to hit the house was uncovered while Marcus was blatantly looking through someone’s stuff, and stumbled upon a love letter from a girlfriend to Ben. Marcus and Marquel confronted him about it, and Ben doesn’t deny it at all and states that he is going to home, to his “someone special” and apparently his son. While the rest of the house is simply in shock, Michelle has a complete and total breakdown, mainly about her 9-year-old daughter that she had to leave behind. Side note: the females on this show are literally wild, Clare is pretty normal, but she can be crazy too. Michelle’s tears continue throughout the rest of the night, and the anger seems a little bit misplaced but alas. One of the funniest aspects of this entire fight is when Michelle questions if he just came here to go on a “free vacation,” like obviously, yes; he came for the vacation and for the free publicity. Better yet, her question was quickly answered, when Ben said “goodbye Hollywood” in the confessional, he clearly thought he was more famous that he actually was.

Now for the Rose Ceremony, Michelle gives her rose to Marquel, despite a really awkward conversation about her problem drinking too much. Lacy obviously gives her rose to Marcus, leaving Robert nervous and seemingly the top contender to go home. Clare gives her rose to Zack, which may have been due to their quick minute hook up pre ceremony. AshLee gives her rose to Graham, which just perpetuates this crazy train we are on with emotional AshLee. Now for the drama, Elise tries to give Dylan her rose, but he rejects it. Leaving her to give her rose to Chris. Now Sarah has the Final Rose and a pretty big decision to make, shockingly she chooses to give her rose to Robert. I was genuinely shocked; Sarah and Dylan seemed to enjoy their date together, and with his refusal to accept Elise’s means that he will be going home.
