Carmen Ortega Defends Justin Bieber’s Behavior: ‘He’s Not Out Of Control’

Justin Bieber has made headlines yet again this week for his inappropriate behavior. On Thursday morning he was pulled over and arrested in Miami for allegedly driving under the influence, resisting arrest and driving with an expired license while drag racing. And that’s just the cherry on top of a series of incidents surrounding the pop star that revolve around breaking the law or disturbing the peace.

Many celebrities and personalities have expressed their opinions on social media, saying that the Biebs is out of control and he needs some guidance. However, there’s one person that seems to think Justin is just being a normal guy and doing what teenagers do. Latina model Carmen Ortega, allegedly sat down with the singer on Tuesday night at the King of Diamonds strip club where they reportedly had a heart to heart for about 90 minutes.

Ortega, who made headlines in 2009 after she claimed she had an affair with Reggie Bush while he was in a relationship with Kim Kardashian, spoke to the Daily News and revealed, “Justin says he feels under so much pressure. He really cares what people say. He was saying that all this attention is ruining his career. He was really sad.”

“He said, ‘I hate it that people make out I’m a bad guy, there’s so much media pressure. I’m not a bad guy, I’m just being me.’” She added that the singer was just a “normal dude.” “He gets such a bad rep when he’s a really nice guy,” Ortega said. “He’s just doing what any teenager would do if they were a star with lots of money.”

The night the Canadian crooner and the Latina model crossed paths, Bieber was celebrating the birthday of his rapper friend Lil’ Scrappy. According to Ortega, he was only drinking Red Bull that night. “It must be awful, always being made out to be the bad guy,” she continued. “It can't be normal ... I gave him the advice to enjoy the moment, the right now, and not think about it too much. He agreed and said: ‘You're right.’”

“I don't agree with everything he's done, but he's not out of control,” insisted Ortega. “I feel he says and does things out of anger to the media, which makes it worse, he doesn't quite know how to deal with the backlash or the attention.” The model continued, “It’s been made into something it wasn’t. Sure, some of his party were drinking but no one was doing anything crazy. There was no drugs.”

Ortega, who was linked last year to then-engaged NBA star LeBron James, also revealed that Justin told her he was no longer dating Selena Gomez. “He said, ‘I’m single, I’m not with her.’ He then changed the topic; it was obvious he didn’t want to talk about it.”
