Last week, Demi Lovato was reportedly rushed to the hospital due to a lung infection, but the singer talked to "Extra's" Mario Lopez and said to not believe everything you read. "I just went there because I wasn’t feeling good. I was not rushed to the hospital… I was pretty sick, but I was not rushed to the hospital," Lovato explained. The former Disney star also spoke to Lopez about our concept of "unnatainable" beauty, “I keep hearing this term 'thigh gap’ in social media and everything, and I feel like when we hear things as women – and men, too – but specifically women with this thigh gap thing, when we hear things over and over again we start to believe that’s what beautiful means.”

Lovato also spoke to the Extra host about teaming up with Tampax and Kotex for a very special campaign. “We're women and we have that thing once a month, so get over it!” She said that she also chose this campaign because it’s specifically tough for women to feel good during that time of the month. “It’s all about confidence and radiance and just feeling great… I’m all about women empowerment,” she added.

The "Let It Go" star never travels alone anymore because she brings her malti-poo baby, Buddy everywhere she goes… “He has his own Instagram!” said Demi. (Watch the full interview here.)
