Eiza González has seemingly skyrocketed to fame in Hollywood after being romantically linked to Liam Hemsworth, the notable ex-fiancé of Miley Cyrus. But now it seems the Mexican actress is returning to her hard working roots in order to become famous in the US for more than just a relationship. Make no mistake, González is not a newcomer to the fame game, however, she is most known in her native Mexico after gaining popularity for her role in “Lola…Erase una vez.” The 2007 adolescent targeted telenovela told the story of Lola, a modern day Cinderella who works as a nanny but also sings in a rock band. Through the title character González was able to display her talents, both singing and acting.

Now the actress will take on a new role entirely, however we are betting that it will be her best one yet. Serving as the face of the project, González will be starring in the new television series, “From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series.” The 23-year-old will portray Santánico Pandemonium, the character, which was originally portrayed by Salma Hayek, has been credited as the game-changing role of her career, meaning we are expecting Eiza's popularity to grow even more rapidly. The series is based on 1996 Quentin Qaratino film of the same name which boast a dedicated cult following. The drama has been picked up for 10 episodes on the brand new El Rey Network, "From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series," serves as the first original scripted series to air on the new cable network.

The actress will appear on screen with actors Robert Patrick, Madison Davenport and Brandon Soo, in addition to others who create the ensemble cast. And it seems that González is thrilled about her new role, in a recent interview, the actress commented about her character saying, “I'm going to eat people!"
