Despite the recent rumors that Eva Longoria and fiancée José Bastón had ended things, the actress said things between her and her beau are just fine. Now we know she was telling the truth, since the two love birds are getting married as soon as next weekend!

The couple got engaged last December in Dubai with a magnificent ruby and diamonds ring, and the news broke thanks to a photo of the couple kissing on Longoria’s Instagram captioned: “Ummmm so this happened…#Engaged #Dubai #Happiness.”

Here’s what we know so far about the upcoming fabulous and glamorous nuptials:

  1. The event will take place next Saturday, May 21.
  2. Some sources are reporting that the couple is getting married in Acapulco, but our sources have confirmed the nuptials will in fact take place in the beautiful town of Valle de Bravo in Mexico.
  3. The guest list will reportedly be filled with A-listers such as David and Victoria Beckham, Ricky Martin, Penelope Cruz, Katy Perry, Mario Lopez and “Jane the Virgin” star Jaime Camil, amongst many others.
  4. Close friend Victoria Beckham reportedly designed Longoria’s wedding gown.
  5. The planning was pretty quick. The couple got engaged only six months ago and the wedding will mostly be a super extravagant event.
  6. The wedding will also mark two and a half years since the couple went public with their relationship.
  7. After the wedding, the two will probably return to their $11.4 million Hollywood Hills home they recently bought from Tom Cruise.
  8. Even though Longoria had said she already felt married to Bastón, she also hinted she wanted a “big fat Mexican wedding,” so it will probably be a tremendously fun bash!

We sure hope this will be Longoria’s long awaited prince. The actress has been married twice before to soap opera actor Tyler Christopher and NBA star Tony Parker, whom she married in a lavish, elegant French chateau in 2007.
