'Boruto' Naruto The Movie
A new Naruto movie starring son Boruto is slated for August 2015. Shonen Jump

Following the success of "The Last: Naruto the Movie," the next chapter in the "Naruto New Era Opening Project," also known as "Naruto Shin Jidai Kaimaku Project," is a sequel "Boruto" movie, named after Naruto's son. According to reports, the new Bolt Uzumaki movie release date will be in August 2015 in Japan.

While the movie is still months away, plot speculations have been generating incredible buzz, including statements from creator Masashi Kishimoto during an interview, which was shared in a Chinese blog. According to the post, the main villain in the new "Boruto" movie will be the infamous Orochimaru.

Since the sensational Orochimaru arc in the first Naruto anime, fans are more than familiar than the legendary Sannin member's obsession for forbidden jutsu and immortality. In the past, the cunning shinobi kidnapped Sasuke with the intent of making his body a vessel. Ultimately, Orochimaru's plan to use Sasuke failed. However, Orochimaru isn't done yet.

In the next movie, Orochimaru may find interest in Sasuke and Sakura's daughter Salada. Like her father, Salada possesses the Uchicha's powerful Sharingan. In addition, Orochimaru could go after Naruto's son Bolt, who uniquely possesses both the Uzumaki and Hyuga bloodline.

Obviously, Naruto will never let Orochimaru off easy for harming his son. According to speculation, the new "Boruto" movie will feature an incredible battle between Orochimaru and Naruto. This time, Orochimaru will be more dangerous than ever before. What's more, Naruto is now the village Hokage.

From the final world ninja battle story arc in "Naruto Shippuden," we already know how powerful Naruto has become in a very short period of time. Honestly, we find it hard to believe Orochimaru would stand 10 seconds against a Hokage-level Naruto. It will be very interesting to see what Orochimaru is hiding up his sleeves in the new movie.

The "Boruto" movie is slated to arrive in Japanese theaters on August 2015. What are your thoughts on the latest plot rumors? Let us know in the comment section below! Stay tuned as we find out more in the months ahead.
