‘How I Met Your Dad’ Spoilers: Meg Ryan To Be Narrator For Mother In 'HIMYM' Spinoff

If you were wondering who will be the narrator for the upcoming spinoff to “How I Met Your Mother,” “How I Met Your Dad,” look no further. According to recent reports Meg Ryan is said to be the future voice for Greta Gerwig’s character Sally in the series.

Just how Bob Saget played future Ted on “How I Met Your Mother” Meg Ryan will be the unforeseen narrator in this spinoff series.

“How I Met Your Dad” will be Ryan’s first ever regular primetime TV job. While she’s had a recurring role on Showtime’s “Web Therapy” and has had roles on soap opera’s, sitcoms and more she has never had a regular starring role on a TV series.

The pilot, which has yet to receive a series order, follows Sally's search for the father of her children. The storyline for “How I Met Your Dad” follows Sally on the journey of how she met her husband. She lives in New York with her friends, is getting divorced from her first husband, and has no idea what she is doing with her life.

As of now the pilot cast includes Greta Gerwig as the protagonist Sally, Nicholas D’Agosto as Frank, Anders Holm as Gavin, Andrew Santino as Danny, Tiya Sircar as Juliet and Drew Tarver as Todd.
