A new concept video has shown another iPhone 6 in a curved fashion. This is not the first time we’ve seen this concept and we are beginning to think maybe Apple will take this step for its upcoming smartphone. Corning, the company behind Gorilla Glass announced they would be perfecting a curved version of its popular glass and it just so happens that Apple uses that particular glass on its iPhone devices. It would be a logical step for the company seeing how companies like Samsung and LG already have curved smartphones.
The Wall Street Journal reports a new iPhone with a larger curved display might be in Apple’s foreseeable future. Smartphones companies like Samsung and LG have both created curved smartphones like the Galaxy Round and LG G Flex, but Apple has yet to launch a product that utilizes a curved display. Dutch designer Lewi Hussey has created some concept art of what a curved iPhone 6 might look like. Check out the concept video below.
No details or an official release date for the iPhone 6 has yet to be revealed but many speculations have been made. While it is believed the next iPhone will be arriving at WWDC others believe it will arrive this fall. Analyst have gone back and forth on the release date but nothing is certain as Apple has not announced any news. If the company sticks with the tradition it has we will most likely see the phone in the fall but perhaps Apple will change and we will see it earlier.
