Enrique Peña Nieto has just confirmed the (third) capture of Joaquín Loera Guzmán, better known as ‘El Chapo’. The druglord had escaped a maximum security prison for the second time last July, through a tunnel dug from the shower as Mexican security officials reported on Sunday. Mr. Guzmán was captured in February,2014, in Mazatlán, Mexico; something President Peña Nieto was extremely proud of, claiming his government was working “to guarantee the safety and the execution of laws in our territory so we can achieve a Mexico at peace”.

Now, Mexico’s chief in command broke the news proudly via twitter saying they have “completed the mission” and Guzmán has been apprehended once more:
