Even though Juan Gabriel, Mexican singer who had been admitted last Monday to Southern Hills Hospital in Las Vegas because of pneumonia, had been released yesterday as his publicists informed, Televisa Espectáculos journalist Juan Manuel Navarro just confirmed to Latin Times that the singer has relapsed and has been readmitted to the hospital today.

Mexican respected journalist Gustavo Adolfo Infante adds that Juan Gabriel is in ICU and his health status is very delicate as he presented some heart problems. Some patients that suffer from pneumonia need to be under observation for more days, sometimes even weeeks and that seems to be the case for the Mexican songwriter who is 67-years-old.

Juan Gabriel's most recent message on twitter was “Prayers, recipes, advice, recommendations, and good wishes have flourished.”It is confirmed that after his recovery, he will return to the stage on May 1 in Los Angeles. He will rest in Las Vegas and Los Angeles until he has to reappear on stage for his tour “Volver.” According to his publicists, his health had improved considerably since he started receiving treatment. He had liquid in his lungs and low oxygen levels.
