The telenovela starring Maite Perroni comes to an end this Sunday in México with 'La Gata' living eternally happy. Televisa

Maite Perroni currently stars as "La Gata," the smash-hit Univision telenovela that airs every night on the No.1 Spanish-language network. Audiences in México had been a couple weeks ahead of the U.S. broadcast and this Sunday, the series will come to an end. Will Esmeralda (Perroni) and Pablo (Daniel Arenas) be able to live happily ever after? The official website set up at Televisa will offer a live webshow starting at 4:55pm (Central Time Zone) where the cast will talk to audiences directly answering questions and teasing the finale. On El Canal de las Estrellas at 5pm CT a special titled "TVyNovelas Presenta Rumbo Al Gran Final De 'La Gata'" hosted by Martha Carrillo and Aurora Valle. The show will present the best scenes from the whole novela and audience members will vote for their favorite using social media.

Starting at 6pm CT, the two-hour last episode will air. After the finale a special alternate ending will be made available online for audiences to watch. The website might be blocked for U.S. audiences but if you are tech savvy you will know there are extensions to your browser that allow you to bypass it and able to stream the content. If that fails, it's a good time to call your family in México and see how they're doing and make sure to have them close to the television so you can hear what is happening. If that is too much for you, we at LatinTimes will be offering a Live Blog with a play by play of what the finale looks like. If you don't like spoilers, you can wait until Univision airs the finale sometime next year.

Last weekend Perroni was probably enjoying one fine weekend looking forward to enjoying the last week of "La Gata" episodes in México, when it was abruptly interrupted. On Sunday night the Twitter account of the former RBD singer was hacked and obscene messages started filling up people's timelines. For her over 3 million fans this was not the typical messages they are used to reading from the actress. The hacker even leaked an alleged nude photo of the "Vas A Querer Volver" hitmaker that shows her topless. "With the news that they hacked my account," Perroni posted on Twitter before being deleted by the hacker. "Whatever you read, until further notice it is not me." The account has since been restored and everything is back to normal.
