It’s been and extremely busy year for Wilmer Valderrama who is starring (alongside girlfriend Demi Lovato) on the hit show “From Dusk Till Dawn” and has been cast to star in Fox’s new upcoming series “Minority Report,” which is premiering in September. The cast will also include Meagan Good, Stark Sands, Nick Zano, Laura Regan and Li Jun Li, and the series will be based on the 2002 film of the same name, directed by Steven Spielberg and starring Tom Cruise. The series is basically a sequel to the film set in Washington, D.C., 10 years after the demolition of the Pre-Crime Unit.

In the futuristic series, Valderrama is set to play police detective Will Blake, who subs Good’s character Vega while she’s out on leave. When she comes back, Vega comes to the realization she doesn’t like him at all. The pilot was written and exec produced by Max Borenstein, directed by Mark Mylod, and Amblin Entertainment, 20th Century Fox Television and Paramount Television will produce the series.

The show is part of the hefty list of fall TV premieres, and will debut on September 21 at 9 p.m. on Fox.
