Big news, Ed Boon and NetherRealm Studios are planning a "Mortal Kombat X" exclusive reveal at the upcoming Evo 2014 tournament. The developer posted a pic via Facebook to tease the reveal, which could potentially be a new character for the titles roster. The image is stylized in a simple black background and white writing with the "Mortal Kombat" logo. The text from the pic leaves a huge hint that reads: I Stand Watch For Eternity.

The text also reveals the announcement is set for Saturday, July 12 during the "Injustice: Gods Among Us" finals. Along with the Facebook reveal Boon announced via Twitter that a reveal is coming soon. The tweet reads: "Been working lat3 recently (with @tylerlansdown @pakostevens & @DKirtzic) on som3thing to show at an upcoming event. #KrypticAntics."

There has only been one guess as to whom will be revealed at Evo 2014. Many speculations point to the Thunder God himself Raiden! The text is enough to let you know it will be a legendary character and besides what is "Mortal Kombat" without Raiden?
