Nintendo has announced a new direct will come early next week Monday, Aug. 4 starting at 8 p.m. PT. The direct will be "Hyrule Warriors" focused and will bring tons of exciting news for the Wii U title. Nintendo broke the news via its Nintendo of America Twitter account tweeting the message, "Watch a new #NintendoDirectNA on Monday, 8/4 at 8 p.m. PT for new details about #HyruleWarriors for #WiiU http://Ninten.do/6019mJyX."

The live stream for the direct will appear on Nintendo's official website, and via YouTube for views in the US and Europe. It will start at 8 p..m. PT, 11 p.m. ET, 7 a.m. GMT and 4 p.m. AEST. News for "Hyrule Warriors" has been plentiful since its announcement at E3 last month.

The title is essentially a "Legend of Zelda" and "Dynasty Warriors" mash-up brought to you by Tecmo Koei Games. The game takes characters from the "Legend of Zelda" franchise such as Link, Zelda, Impa, Midna, and many others and makes them playable with extremely cool and powerful "Dynasty Warrior" style moves. Play as any of your favorite "Legend of Zelda" characters to take on swarms of bad guys and bosses.

Many believe more playable characters, bosses and stages will be revealed for the title during the "Hyrule Warriors" direct as well as other modes for the game. "Hyrule Warriors" will land on retail shelves and the Wii U eShop Sept. 26. Until then check out some of awesome gameplay in the reveal and features trailers below:
