Nuestra Belleza Latina Contestants
Last night, one of the girls went home after a night of dancing, more dancing, and celebrating Cinco de Mayo with a Frida Kahlo and María Félix homage. One of these girls went home. Who was it? Univision

Last night, “Nuestra Belleza Latina” was a celebration of color, dance and major hunks who came to help the remaining contestants with their live challenge and join the Cinco de Mayo celebrations. Both the adrenaline and tension are getting higher and higher, and the girls are bringing their best game to prove they have what it takes to become the next Latina beauty queen.

Ally Villegas was the first girl to take on the catwalk, accompanied by William Valdez, the social media presenter from “Despierta América.” María Elena was next, with actor Carlos de la Mota. They both danced to Mexican music. Josephine stole the show with “Sal y Pimienta” presenter Rodner Figueroa. They both danced a very seductive tango that got the judges praising their chemistry and professionalism. Nabila was next, accompanied by Henry Santos. They both danced a passionate bachata exuding a lot of sensuality.

Alina stirred up the stage with Pedro Moreno dancing hip-hop, and to end the dance challenge, Aleyda partnered up with “Mira Quien Baila” champion, Johnny Lozada to bring the audience a very flavorful salsa. The dancing continued throughout the ninth gala as El Dasa joined to perform his hits “Mentirosa” and “Por Ser Bonita” and Enrique Iglesias along with Gente de Zona brought their already popular song “Bailando.”

If we remember, last week judge Osmel gave the girls’ godmothers Alicia and Denise a little vacation. He took it upon himself to train the girls for this week, but he brought in a little help: six former Nuestra Belleza Latina queens that he assigned to each participant according to their personality and needs to improve. Alejandra Espinoza, Vanessa de Roide, Greidys Gil, Nastassja Bolivar, Marisela Demontecristo and Ana Patricia gave their best tips to get the crown.

Denise and Alicia said they enjoyed their vacation and do not hold a grudge on Osmel. To wrap up the Cinco de Mayo celebrations, the girls modeled outfits inspired in Frida Kahlo and María Félix to the music of La Santa Cecilia. In the end, the girls with the least votes, hence the bottom three, were Aly, Aleyda and María Elena. Aly was saved by the other girls and Aleyda was saved by the judges. Therefore, María Elena went home last night. In two weeks, a new queen will be crowned.
