'Pokemon Alpha Sapphire," "Pokemon Omega Ruby" Update: See Mega Metagross In Latest Game Trailer! [VIDEO]

In a new trailer released by The Pokémon Company and Nintendo we get our first look at Mega Metagross as well as some details regarding the titles storyline and some new features. Many of the details revealed were already previewed in the recent CoroCoro magazine in Japan but this official release includes new artwork and more information about the two titles.

First and foremost we must discuss the new Mega Evolution that is Mega Metagross! It appears MM (Meta Metagross) will be paired with returning champion Steven. The Pokémon will retain its Steel/Psychic type but will obtain the new ability Tough Claws, which is said to power up its physical based attacks and additionally increase MM's speed. Speaking of Mega Evolutions, some details regarding Mega Diancie were also shared. It was revealed that Diancie will sport the special ability Mega Bounce, which makes any status condition or stat lowering affect return to the attacking Pokémon. Mega Diancie will also receive a boost in speed, attack and special attack, while receiving a slight reduction in defense and spacial defense.

Meanwhile a plethora of pics were released of everybody's favorite Pokémon, Pikachu, in cosplay, which we now know is a new feature for Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. The different cosplays for Pika include Pikachu Rock Star, Pikachu Belle, Pikachu Pop Star, Pikachu Ph.D. and Pikachu Libre. These cosplay costumes are related to the return of Pokémon Contests but nothing else has been revealed about that.

"Pokémon Omega Ruby" and "Pokémon Alpha Sapphire" will be available exclusively on Nintendo 2DS and 3DS November 21. Check out the latest trailer below!
