When “Pretty Little Liars” show runner Marlene King announced that the series was set to celebrate its first Christmas special in Season 5 fans were simply ecstatic. However when they learned that the holiday episode would replace the traditional “Pretty Little Liars” Halloween episode, some fans were less than thrilled. But now it seems like “Pretty Little Liars” fans will get their cake and eat it too, because Season 5 is set to premiere not only the highly anticipated Christmas episode in December, but also a Halloween special this October!

ABC Family announced that "PLL" will get its own special during their “13 Nights of Halloween” event, but unlike the Halloween specials of the past 4 seasons, this event will not be an episode. Instead the network stated that Halloween event will be a “Fan Appreciation Special,” joining together the cast and the crew to divulge some of the secrets of the mystery series. The format of the show will be similar to that of AMC’s “The Talking Dead” which premieres at the end of each new episode of “The Walking Dead” and discusses the latest plot lines, character developments and of course always hints at possible spoilers for the next episode or season.

The “Pretty Little Liars” Fan Appreciation Special will give fans the chance to have some of their several questions answered, fans can enter their questions simply by either posting their questions on the series official Facebook page or by tweeting their questions with the hashtag #PLLHalloween. With “Pretty Little Liars” already being the most tweeted about show on TV, the cast and crew should prepare for an abundant number of questions. In addition to addressing fans question, the cast will also be remembering the scariest scenes that they have had to film. In addition to Halloween episodes of the past, which are also a bit spookier than the regular series episodes, the “A” on Season 5 of "PLL" has gotten more aggressive and certainly more lethal.
