Rumors about a possible performance by the British band started swirling after vocalist Mick Jagger paid a visit to the island in October. Now, the historic concert has been confirmed and a pretty monumental stage is being mounted so that the Rolling Stones rock it out on March 25! The big event will take place at Havana's Ciudad Deportiva, where some 200,000 fans of the British band are expected to gather.

Even though vice president of the Cuban Institute of Music, Osmani Lopez, told the Communist Party daily Granma that the show has become “a great challenge,” but they remain extremely excited. “We have created the conditions so the audience can "enjoy the show in a wonderful atmosphere,” Lopez said convinced.

"I think it's important to play places like this where the music is still brand new," Diplo told Charlie Rose for "CBS This Morning". "These are the guys who are gonna change it — the kids in Havana, the kids in Pakistan, the kids in India are the ones who're gonna bring it to a new level."
