The song we’ve all been waiting for is out! And the collaboration between Shakira and Rihanna is even better than we expected. “Can’t Remember To Forget You” was released on the Ryan Seacrest radio show today, Jan. 13, and mixes a little bit of reggae, ska and tropical rhythms. Both Shakira and Rihanna’s flavors blended perfectly, which was one of our major concerns since both stars have such iconic voices. But it was a match made in musical heaven and the result is outstanding.

This super hot collaboration was a secret until rapper Pitbull let it slip during an interview. Mr. 305 was giving an interview and discussing his collaboration with singer Ke$ha. He said the “We Are Who We Are” singer was not his first choice of female vocals for his hit “Timber.” “The person we were looking at first to work on that record was actually Rihanna. But she had something she had to do with Shakira and wasn’t able to work on our record,” Pitbull revealed during the interview.

After the cat was out of the bag, anticipation began. And Rihanna finally confirmed the duet on Jan. 6 after an incorrect date was announced on Twitter. Shakira later opened up to Glamour magazine about working with the Barbadian star saying, “Working with her was utopia. She’s the sexiest woman on the planet. And at the end of the day, we’re both basically just Caribbean girls. The chemistry was so good and so real.” Check out the song below and let us know what you think! Will “Can’t Remember To Forget You” be 2014’s biggest hit?
