Rumors that Vanessa Huppenkothen and Marisol González were fired from Televisa Deportes have surfaced after a photo of the team was uploaded to social media without the beauties. All of the members that compose the TD department posed for a photo at the Estadio Azteca and neither Vanessa nor Marisol were part of the gathering. This fueled speculation that they both had been cut, following Javier Alarcón's exit from the network. They were both hired by the former director and they were allegedly his favorites.

Both girls on Twitter still show on their description that they are hosts for Televisa Deportes. Huppenkothen already took to the social network to lash out and debunk all the rumors that she had been let go. "To all the sensational media," Vanessa opened her tweet. "I am still with Televisa Deportes. Due to health reasons I was not able to assist the TD gather. I will see you all on Sunday on 'La Jugada.'" With that message, she shut down all the gossip that she had been fired. Marisol, on the other hand, has not made reference to the rumors.

After being fired from his post at Televisa Deportes, Javier Alarcón broke his silence on Twitter with a cryptic statement. According to a close source, Javier was involved in an embezzlement scheme and Televisa is in the process of investigating the situation. He allegedly took over 10 million pesos, which is over half a million dollars.
