Singer Ximena Sariñana is usually quite shy and recently spoke to the media about the possible reason behind her reserved personality. She stated that she suffers from Asperger’s Syndrome, which is a condition similar to autism in some ways. “There are different levels of Asperger’s and mine is obviously a very functional one. My family is very much involved in the latest research developments of autism, trying to find a cure and an alternative, said Sariñana. “I should change my eating habits, get a chelation therapy to release all the heavy metals from my body, is what my aunt prescribed me.”

Ximena didn’t want to disclose too many details on her condition but instead continued to talk about how this hasn’t affected her professional growth and pointed out that everyone has a certain level of attention deficit, which affects our ways of socializing. “We all have different ways of learning at different capacities. We shouldn’t try to modify kids to adapt themselves to certain models of education but education should be modified to each kids’ circumstances and capacity,” said the singer.

While the singer is “crazy busy” in preparation for the release of her next album “No Todo Lo Puedes Dar,” she is also very excited for everyone to hear the single. Sariñana said it was hard to go back to Spanish after having written her second album in English. “Writing songs is a muscle that you exercise,” she explained. This time around she got her dad, filmmaker Fernando Sariñana, to produce some of her songs with a little help from her friends from Camila, Mario Domm, and Alejandro Rosso from Plastilina Mosh.
