Vin Diesel and Miss Colombia, Ariadna Gutiérrez, have been shooting scenes for their upcoming movie “xXx: The Return of Xander Cage” in the beautiful beaches of the Dominican Republic for the past couple of months.
Latin Times first found out about Gutiérrez’s role in the movie back in March, when sources close to the 22-year-old actress disclosed she was flying to the Caribbean nation to join the rest of the cast.
Even though very few details have been revealed about the Miss Universe’s first runner-up role in the film, the informant assured it wasn’t going to be a small one. Sources report she is scheduled to appear in 6 scenes and has 3 pages of dialogue.
Good news do not end there for Miss Colombia! Diesel has been very approving of her acting skills on social media. Earlier this week, the action feature’s star shared a couple of posts, in which he expresses his opinion about Ariadna’s acting debut.”
“For her first role, she really was a natural,” the 48-year-old actor wrote on Instagram. “Proud of you Ariadna…You took what could have been an average role and made it something special. Thank you for bringing your magic.”
In a different post, the “Furious 8” star shared a little bit of what it’s like hanging out with the Colombian bombshell on and behind the scenes.
“So, we are here filming on the set of ‘Triple X.’ I am filming with Ariadna. You know her as Miss Colombia, you know here as the incredible, talented, beautiful, wonderful,” Diesel said before Ariadna interrupted him saying, “Oh my God! Thank you so much!”
He continued, “And you know, soy muy tímido, tu sabes, soy muy tímido. But this scene is so sexy, and thank God I got her to help me through this scene. Porque tú sabes, soy muy tímido, pero yo soy más tigre que tú supones, más tigre que tú supones, tú sabes,” he joked.
