'xXx: The Return Of Xander Cage' Cast: Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutiérrez To Play Vin Diesel's Love Interest In Action Film

Last April Fool’s Day, Latin Times reported that Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutiérrez was considering a role in an upcoming triple X movie. Even though the information included in the article was a fabrication to amuse those who like to celebrate the day with practical jokes, TMZ has confirmed that Miss Universe's first runner-up just landed a part in a different type of “xXx” film. According to their website, Gutiérrez will be playing Vin Diesel’s love interest in the upcoming action feature, “xXx: The Return of Xander Cage.”

Sources close to the 22-year-old actress disclosed she flew to the Dominican Republic on Tuesday to start filming her scenes. They also revealed that her role won’t be a small one. As of now, she is scheduled to appear in 6 scenes and has 3 pages of dialogue. It looks like things are going great for the beauty queen after enduring Steve Harvey’s epic mistake at the Miss Universe 2015 pageant.

THR reports that in addition to the returning headliners, “xXx 3” has also recruited bombshells Nina Dobrev, Deepika Padukone, and Ruby Rose to join the awaited production. After over a decade of being MIA, Xander Cage (Diesel), the extreme athlete turned super spy returns to save the world once again. This time, the franchise will be borrowing “Fast & Furious’” formula and will be adding these powerful female characters that will function as Cage’s primarily support team.
