A Chevrolet ride-and-drive event in Texas allowed prospective car buyers to give the Chevrolet lineup a go in a closed parking lot course. People will have the opportunity to understand the vehicle and test its limits in a controlled environment. Unfortunately, a 2014 Impala went out of control, careening into three new 2014 Corvette Stingray sports cars. The aftermath of the Corvette crash was captured on video.

While the cause of the crash isn't clearly reported, the incident was an accident and the careless driver did not intend any malice. Unfortunately, this does not change the fact that two Corvettes are severely damaged.

Other participants of the Chevrolet ride-and-drive event were eager to share their account of the incident:

"While I didn't see what led up to it, I just looked up when I heard the first crunch," said a bystander. "The Impala with the rear damage was hit by the guy first. He was driving an Impala, and first smashed into the rear of the grey Impala, then into the white C7 and the yellow C7. I'm not sure if the red C7 was damaged at all."

The guy looped back around, and was heading toward the building, and everyone screamed and ran like Godzilla was coming (I stayed and took pictures, as there was a more than adequate barrier to stop him from killing us all). He parked the car and the police and event staff were all frantic. The guy gets out of the car and seemed totally fine, just shook up. I took a pic of him talking to the police... juuuust incase he goes crazy and winds up on the news or something."

"But he made two Laps inside the parking area and took out 2 Vettes and 2 impalas," said a second witness. "He claimed to have had a diabetic shock. But witness says he had a very deranged look on his face and he knew what he was doing. Needless to say he walked off without any fines or charges against him AND the free t-shirt for driving the cars."
