2015 Honda Civic Type-R Turbo
The iconic Honda Civic Type-R was never officially sold in the U.S. It's time to change that. Honda

Earlier this week, Honda unveiled its new line of turbocharged direct-injected VTEC engines, which includes a 1.0L three-cylinder, a 1.5L four-cylinder and a 2.0L four-cylinder. Honda hasn't released all the specs for the three engines, but Honda did announce that the 2.0L turbocharged engine could generate more than 280 horsepower and will be introduced in the Civic Type-R. This sounds very exciting except for one major detail: The U.S. market never got the Civic Type-R.

Now, Honda enthusiast Nikos Stoufis has been stirred to action and has established a petition on social platform change.org in order to generate enough signatures for Honda to take notice of the demand in America. here is what Stoufis wrote:

Honda enthusiasts demand that the discrimination against our market stops right here. There is no excuse anymore. If other countries can enjoy the best Honda has to offer, we should be able to enjoy the same rights.

Bring the type R to America once again!

"Without racing there is no Honda" Soichiro Honda

When Honda founder said that, he meant it. Do not once again do whats right for Acura brand, do whats right for the people that believe in the foundation Honda was built upon.

The power of dreams.
