A 29-year-old Indian man was so consumed with anger that he allegedly attacked three family members of his wife. When he tried to run away after the attack, he reportedly got electrocuted.

The July 26 incident happened in Vellore, Tamil Nadu where his 22-year-old wife's family reside, reported India Today.

The man named Mukesh and his wife Monisha were reportedly in a relationship for the last two years. They apparently tied the knot in a temple about 20 days ago. The wedding was reportedly kept a secret. Later, Monisha's family asked her to come back home as her mother wasn't in good health. She accepted the request and went back to stay with her family.

Mukesh then asked Monisha's family to let her live with him. When they turned down his request, he approached Gudiyatham police station in Vellore district. He wanted police's help to "get his wife back." Both parties were called to the police station where Monisha said that she was forced to marry Mukesh. The police spoke to the couple. After the meeting, she went back to her parents' residence. This made Mukesh furious.

On July 26, he went to Monisha's house where he attacked her father, mother and elder sister. The mother and sister were taken to Gudiyatham government hospital for treatment. Mukesh used an iron rod and a knife to attack his father-in-law Chandrashekhar. The 60-year-old hotelier was taken to a Chennai hospital for treatment, where his condition was said to be critical.

When Mukesh tried to flee after the incident, he jumped a wall. While doing so, he got electrocuted. He was rushed to a Vellore government hospital for treatment.

In a separate incident, an Indian man allegedly attacked three members of his family including his wife earlier this month, according to Kalinga TV. The incident happened in the Arvind slum of Mancheswar area in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.

The attack left the three severely injured. Police reached the spot after being informed. They helped the injured people and arrested the accused. The injured were taken to a private hospital in Bhubaneswar. Barik, on the other hand, was taken to the Mancheswar Police Station.
