The suspect behind the death of a 51-year-old woman who was found in a suitcase on Saturday, Apr. 16, was also allegedly targeting the family as his next targets.

This was according to the husband of the female victim, Orsoyla Gaal in a report from WPIX.

The husband, Howard Klein, was out of town when his wife was killed and stuffed inside a duffle bag. He was with their 17-year-old son.

At some point, Klein alleged that he received a threatening text message from the suspect. The message read: “Your whole family is next.”

Klein was in Portland, Oregon at the time as the two were looking for a college for the 17-year-old son of the deceased.

It was on Saturday at around 8:00 a.m. when the body of Gaal was found inside a luggage. Police discovered a trail of blood that led to the victim’s home on Juno Street in Forest Hills.

Before the discovery, Gaal reportedly told her 13-year-old son that she was going out on Friday to watch a show. But as it turned out, she went out to meet another man.

In her final hours when she was last seen, the 51-year-old was spotted in their yard and enjoying a night out. This was before surveillance videos captured a mysterious figure dragging a luggage that contained the murdered boy of Gaal.

The Post was able to talk to Klein while he was at the airport traveling back to New York.

“[My son] Leo is safe. Thank God [my son] is safe,” he said of his younger child, before adding that his family’s “lives are at stake.”

“There are concerns about our safety,” he added. “Our lives are at risk.”

It was added that police allegedly took Gaal’s 13-year-old son away, taken away in handcuffs not long after the 51-year-old woman’s body was found. The teen was reportedly questioned in connection with the case.

The boy was eventually released although police did not reveal who took him into custody at that time.
