Angelina Jolie recently attended the successful premiere of “Maleficent 2” in Los Angeles. While there, the award-winning actress looked stunning in her gown.

Jolie, who was accompanied by five of her six children with Brad Pitt, looked happy throughout their entire outing. The actress wore a black off-shoulder dress to the event.

Recently, however, a tabloid claimed that something tragic happened to Jolie before she walked on the red carpet. A source told the tabloid that Jolie, who has lost a considerable amount of weight after her divorce, almost collapsed.

“She mentioned that she felt faint and had to hang on to her assistant to save her from going down,” the unnamed source said. “Apparently, Ange refused to eat, even after the scare. Ange is obsessed with staying thin and eating as little as possible as a way of maintaining control. It’s like she’s hunger-striking herself just to prove to herself that she can,” the source added.

The insider went on to say that the actress is struggling to juggle her busy schedule, which involves promoting “Maleficent 2,” filming for “The Eternals” and raising her children. Since there are just too many things going on in her life, Jolie is reportedly refusing to eat because this is the only thing that she can control.

“She’s exhausted from single parenthood and a grueling traveling schedule, but worst of all, she still has a destructive relationship with food,” the source said. But according to rumor-debunking site Gossip Cop, there’s no truth to the claims.

The publication noted the fact that Jolie has always been thin. This means that she didn’t lose weight after her divorce or because of her busy schedule. It’s also untrue that the actress is on the verge of suffering from anorexia.

Gossip Cop also exposed the tabloid for publishing fake stories about Jolie and her health throughout the past couple of months. In August, the tabloid claimed that Jolie went into a rehab facility to seek treatment for her eating problems.

In June, the same tabloid claimed that Jolie’s doctors urged her to eat. And they said that if she doesn’t, she could die. Jolie’s health rumors just won’t go away.
