British tabloids have a long-standing history of making it seem like Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle are pitted against each other. This time around, entertainment magazine “In Touch” went a step beyond. The media outlet ran a rather lop-sided report on the two duchesses being pregnant at the same time.

But, quite like every other time, the tabloid tries to depict Markle as the trouble-maker. The magazine’s cover has a rather atrocious line suggesting how Middleton doesn’t have morning sickness though. Firstly, given how there has been no official confirmation of the pregnancies, the references are pretty inane. Secondly, even if Markle were to experience morning sickness as a part of her pregnancy; what needs to be noted is that having the condition isn’t really a bad thing.

A “royal” source apparently claims in the report that Prince Harry has been a hands-on father and is going “above and beyond for Meghan” as opposed to the Duchess who seems a little too self-obsessed.

The report is peppered with sweeping statements that have no relevance whatsoever. The concluding paragraph takes a sly dig on Markle – yet again. The report drags Harry’s deceased mother Princess Diana into the picture. “It would have made their mother so happy for her boys to be together as they grew their families,” said a dubious source with no valid reasoning behind the same.

The comment gives off a very off-putting vibe as it hints at how Markle’s decision to step down from her royal duties and cut ties with the British Royal Family has had everyone in shreds. This baseless rumor was compounded by another accusation hurled at Markle by the outlet’s sister publication the “National Enquirer” that claimed Markle of stealing Princess Diana’s jewelry and how her marriage to Prince Harry was a dream come true, owing to Markle’s sickly obsession with Princess Diana.

The narrative was in a poor taste, and it’s certain that the magazine harbors a certain level of animosity toward the former “Suits” actress.

Lastly, Prince Harry and Markle are well aware of the dirty ploys and opined about his perceptions about the “tabloid mafia” last year. “It would have made their mother so happy for her boys to be together as they grew their families.” That said, it’s kind of obvious that rumor mills have been on overdrive since long. This published piece is just another rumor that deserves to be trashed.
