Prince Harry’s wife Meghan Markle was, recently, on the news for doing something that might have rubbed her father-in-law, Prince Charles, the wrong way. According to sources, the Duchess of Sussex, reportedly, canceled their meeting at the last minute, which might have placed a strain on their relationship.

According to The Sun, Charles was “let down” when Meghan “cancelled a meeting with him at the last minute.” Nevertheless, the report emphasized that the heir apparent will continue to support Harry and the Duchess of Sussex publicly despite the incident.

Unfortunately, the publication did not give further details on the supposed meeting between Prince Charles and Meghan Markle. Naturally, royal family fans are unsure of how the future king might have reacted when his daughter-in-law canceled.

In fact, someone posted the query on whether or not Charles was “really miffed,” as suggested by various reports, on Meghan’s last-minute cancellation. Not surprisingly, people can’t agree as to how the heir might have reacted to that incident.

There are those who believe that Charles was more than miffed. “No, Prince Charles wasn’t miffed,” Graham Short wrote on Quora. “He was absolutely furious with Meghan Markle!”

According to the Quora user, this behavior is just unacceptable in royal circles. “Charles was initially very supportive of Meghan when she joined the Royal Family but was let down when the diva canceled a meeting with him at the last minute,” Short added. “This just isn’t done in Royal circles.”

Meanwhile, another Quora user suggested that people should be wary of the tabloid press. “I must also make readers aware of a ‘stylistic deception’ used by the ‘Tabloid Press’ to mislead readers into believing they are ‘credible’ and have ‘credible sources’: notice my overuse of quotation marks, with no following, requisite attribution?” Jeffrey D. Stamp wrote.

Stamp concluded that fans should not believe everything tabloid press reports as they might “fabricate” stories, which seems to suggest the possibility that Prince Charles being miffed might be untrue. “So, in conclusion: ‘The Tabloid Press’ is bloody vampiric rubbish, making a profit by fabricating ‘headlines,’ feeding on misrepresentation and conjecture,” the Quora user added.

But, one Quora user believes that the story of Charles being miffed is untrue because the story about Meghan canceling a meeting did not happen in the first place. “The short answer is: the alleged incident never happened,” Eileen Wood wrote.
