Ari Borovoy, Former Mexican Band OV7 Singer, Becomes A Father For The First Time

How great it is to receive amazing news regarding members of the pop bands we loved so much as teenagers!

For example, Ari, from Mexican pop band OV7, who just announced he and his wife Arlett Kalach became parents for the first time. The singer hasn't revealed the name of the baby girl yet, but she weighed in at 6 pounds, was 19 inches long and very healthy.

"I've never felt something similar to this, we're very happy and my daughter looks a lot like my wife," commented Borovoy.

According to some publications, Ari and Arlett, who got married Jan. 2011, decided to keep the baby's sex a secret to be pleasantly surprised on the day of the birth. Borovoy said he even shared the morning sickness with his wife, which is actually very common among men with expecting wives.

The singer is very excited about his new role as a dad, but he's still not sure how many kids he wants. "Let's see how many I get. What I really want is for them to be healthy, because that's the most important thing," he added.
