Ariana Grande’s iconic ponytail has always been a subject of intrigue. Turns out, there’s a reason behind why she does her hair like she always does! And um, the reason may not be really what you think it is…

Grande who’s currently swamped with work (She has had a hectic couple of months with live gigs), decided to give fans a real view of what her real hair actually looks like—wavy, coarse and long after being subjected to chemical treatments since a really long time. Grande, who’s proud of her hair’s natural growth, after years of damage, took to Instagram to post an image of her au naturel curls sans any styling.

Arianators went into a tizzy as soon as the IG story surfaced, while a volley of fans took to Twitter, requesting Grande to don her natural tresses in the final shows of her Thank U, Next tour.

While how she decides to do her hair for the forthcoming gig is totally up to her, one thing is certain—Arianators love Grande just the way she is! As of now, one can only wish for an appearance by the American singer in those enviable curls…

Aside from this, Grande made headlines in the past week for her low-key shade on Paige Niemann, the internet’s latest find amongst a pool of Grande’s impersonators. Niemann who shares an uncanny resemblance to Grande, received some flak for the ubiquitous Cat Valentine dialogues in the video. Grande, was clearly not amused by the 15-year-old homeschooled Californian’s TikTok star’s video. In her tweet, Ariana seemed a little put off to see a crossover of sorts between her character Cat and her onstage persona. “I just wonder whyyyy the cat voice / dialogue. I am sure she is the sweetest sweet sweetheart forreal !! but it’s definitely bizarre seeing people blend the two worlds lmao,” said Grande on Twitter.

The response from Grande was rather unexpected, and Niemann clearly couldn’t contain her joy. “I was so shocked that she would notice me,” Niemann said to Teen Vogue. “I was shaking. I was, like, really happy.” And while she’s yet to make out whether Grande was upset over the mix, the wide-eye fan is just over the moon to have caught Grande’s attention.
