Ariana Grande will no longer let her worth just be trampled on. On subsequent events, she proved that whoever will overlook her value as a person and an artist will hear from her.

When Forever 21 had a model that looks like her promoting the brand and even copying her music video, Grande made sure the company knows this is not fine by her. The singer’s camp is now suing the fashion retailer for $10 million.

Grande is not just a singer but a fashion influencer after all. She knows people look up to her not just because of her songs but her distinctive style. Forever 21 however took advantage of this in the crudest way possible.

For all its marketing prowess, Forever 21 and its spin-off cosmetics brand, Riley Rose, decided to an Ariana Grande ;ook-alike model to impersonate her in a brand-new ad campaign and even copied the music video of her hit song, “7 Rings.”

The lawsuit was filed in a federal court in California. The ad is said to be up and running since February 8, as reported by CBS News.

Apart from this lawsuit, Grande also stake a claim to her talent by slamming back against a basher who said she cannot sing live. The commenter claimed that her performance of her song “Breathin” during her “Sweetener” tour was too good to be true. For the basher, Grande must be usig autotuned during the performance to make it sound so perfect.

As reported by Huffpost, Grande did not back down from defending herself. Not only did she say she can sing live, she also said that she’s gifted. “With all due respect, I could do this in your living room for you, fam,” Grande replied back to the comment.

“With no sound mixing or help at all. I could do it on Broadway (and did). I can do it in the shower. In the car. It’s my gift, it’s why I’m here.” Grande added, “I sing 30+ songs a night. Every word. It’s my thing. Let me shine like damn.”
