The Tampa Bay Police Department has issued an arrest warrant for free-agent wide receiver Antonio Brown. The misdemeanor battery charge comes from a November 28th domestic incident involving the mother of Brown's children. According to a report, Brown locked the woman out of her house, tossed out her belongings, threw a shoe at her, and threatened to shoot her. This isn't the first time Brown and one of the mothers of his children have been in a conflict that involved the police.

A video from 2020 shows police speaking with Brown at his Florida home. Allegedly Chelsie Kryss, mother to three of Brown's kids, tried to steal one of his cars as she picked up their children to take to school. Things became heated and tense as Brown began to yell at the officers and Kryss. Toward the end of the video, Brown throws a bag of gummies at Kryss. No charges were filed for either party.

In June 2020, Brown pleaded no contest to felony battery charges from a previous incident and was given two years probation. That sentence was terminated one year early for good behavior.

Brown last played in 2021 for the Buccaneers until they released him in January after a sideline meltdown at Metlife Stadium in a game against the Jets.
