Pokémon X and Y is slated for release on October 12, the same day as the Nintendo 2DS is released. Are you looking forward to the game?Nintendo announced today that a Nintendo Direct presentation will be given tomorrow, Wednesday Sept. 4, for "Pokemon X" and "Pokemon Y." The video will be hosted by Nintendo boss Satoru Iwata and will be shown at 7 a.m. ET. The presentation will be shown in Japan around 8 p.m. and at 1 p.m. CEST in Europe. You will be able to catch the Nintendo Direct Pokemon X and Y presentation on the Nintendo UK site, Nintendo of America site and Nintendo Japan site.

Nintendo tends to have new Pokemon X and Pokemon Y details unveiled to Japan before such news will end up across the Pacific in North America. However, it does seem as though tomorrow's Nintendo Direct will be slightly different in its approach, where all new information will be broadcast worldwide simultaneously. Nintendo has confirmed a worldwide "Pokemon X & Y" release date of October 12. Two Pokemon X & Y 3DS models will be released in Japan.

The most recent "Pokemon X and Y" trailer showed the new Mega Evolution feature, which gives certain Pokemon from previous generations a new stage of evolution.
