Loving "American Horror Story: Coven?" Well then you and 7.7 million viewers are in luck, because FX has renewed the miniseries for a fourth season! "American Horror Story" is truly having it's best season yet, according to both fans and critics, therefore it comes with little surprise that FX has renewed its spooky series for a fourth installment. Season 4 will feature its usual 13 episodes and likely to premiere in October of 2014, just in time for another horrifying Halloween episode.

Despite "American Horror Story" producing one and done seasons, producer Ryan Murphy admitted that he would be delighted to see the current "Coven" season to continue past Season 3, so will Season 4 be filled with even more witchy fun? "Definitely not," a source who works on "American Horror Story" confirmed to E! News. "It's not about witches. It's about something else entirely."

And while we are will be saddened to see Coven burn at the stake, apparently we are not the only ones who will mourn the loss of Fiona at the end of Season 3. "[Coven] is my favorite season that we've done so far," Murphy revealed to E! News. "Every season, I get very sad when I say goodbye to and we tear down those sets. But John Landgraf, to be quite clear, and I have always spoke about that this is a show that's sort of right to spin things off. To do something different. So we are talking about it. Because I mean, I love it. I love this season, I love the cast, and I love what it's about. I love that set more than life itself."

So is there a possibility for the Coven to live on in a pin-off series? Well, Murphy and Landgraf aren't ruling anything out casting a spellbinding spinoff, but they may have trouble getting Jessica Lange on board. "I'm going to do the next season of this and hopefully a play and then maybe one or two movies and then I think," Lange admitted to Huffington Post. "I feel like maybe then it's time to start something brand new in life." But despite the Supreme witches absence from a possible "American Horror Story: Coven" spin-off, Season 4 is in full swing.

Landgraf, FX's network president praised the "American Horror Story" production, writers, and its cast today when announcing the mini series' Season 4 renewal. Landgraf stated, "Put simply, Ryan Murphy is a master television producer. Time and time again he reinvents the form. What he, co-creator Brad Falchuk and their producers Dante Di Loreto, Tim Minear, Jennifer Salt, James Wong, Brad Buecker, Jessica Sharzer, Douglas Petrie, Alfonso Gomez-Rejon, Alexis Martin Woodall and the entire production team and cast responsible for the "American Horror Story" franchise have done is nothing short of extraordinary. Every year, they create a riveting and brilliant new miniseries. "AHS: Coven" is the best yet, and I have no doubt that the next installment will be even better."

So what exactly will the addicting miniseries be about? Well apparently AHS fans will be getting some clues about the Season 4 theme in the current season! The Season 3 finale of "American Horror Story" is set to premiere on January 29, and Murphy has teased that he will drop a clue in the finale episode as to just what is in store for Jessica Lange and the AHS cast in Season 4!
