The Democrats took to an official social media account to mock White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller after his wife left her position with the federal government to work with Elon Musk.

Miller's wife, Katie Rose, has served as the spokesperson for Musk's Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) since its inception at the start of President Donald Trump's second term. On his way out, The Cut reported Musk took Miller's wife with him to take on a similar role, assisting him with overseeing his tech empire, which includes roles at X, Tesla, SpaceX and the Boring Company.

Left-wing party officials made their cheeky comment in an X post quoting a Daily Beast story. The headline read: "Elon Musk poached Stephen Miller's wife during his grand exit from the White House."

In response, the Democrats posted a photo of a beige armchair positioned in the corner of a sparsely furnished room, an apparent allusion to a "cuck chair," a slang term referencing a chair placed to allow someone to observe their partner in an intimate act with another person.

By Sunday morning, the Democrats' post garnered more than 2 million views, promoting hundreds of comments that reflected a mix of reactions to the not-so-subtle jab.

"I wish you guys had figured out social media politics 10 years ago, but better late than never," one X user wrote.

"Y'all would win way more if you brought this kind of energy to elections instead of trying to be proper and polite all the time," another added.

Meanwhile, other social media users had not-so-kind reactions.

"You guys celebrate and encourage cuck culture. Are you suggesting it's degenerate and pathetic now? It's basically your whole brand," an X user shared.

"Stephen Miller is a massive piece of s***. Deserves every ounce of bad karma heading his way," another X user wrote. "This tweet, though, lacks any decency or decorum. Should be deleted."

The duality of the internet.
