The youngest son of President Donald Trump, Barron, has reemerged after a noticeable absence from the first day of classes at New York University. The 19-year-old First Son has just entered his sophomore year of college.

After the first day of the semester came and went without Barron's presence, PEOPLE Magazine published an exclusive investigative piece on where he might have gone. Security personnel confirmed that Barron has not been seen at the main Manhattan campus as of the start of the semester and appears to be "doing a semester at another NYU campus," but declined to say which due to "privacy concerns."

Now, The New York Post has its own exclusive scoop alleging that Barron is attending classes on NYU's campus in Washington, D.C., where his mother, Melania Trump, and father currently reside. They also report that Barron has relocated to the White House with his parents and is residing there while attending classes in D.C.

The Daily Beast has also corroborated the reports of Barron moving to the nation's capital and suggested that his academic move aligns with past hints about his interest in politics, tech, and cryptocurrency ventures. Over the summer, he reportedly spent time developing business ideas, engaging in tech and crypto ventures (some reports suggest earnings up to $25 million from a crypto project tied to his family), and traveling among Trump family properties.

The NYU Washington, D.C. center carries an intimate cohort of roughly 120 students per semester, with course offerings in politics, journalism, public policy, economics, environmental studies, and history. Students there reportedly benefit from "concentrated study and research" and proximity to institutions, nonprofits, corporations, and government agencies, making it an appealing setting for someone interested in public affairs and entrepreneurship.

Barron's freshman year was marked by a low profile at NYU's main campus, living at Trump Tower, commuting daily to Manhattan, and quietly pursuing tech-related projects. However, his sophomore move signals a shift toward a highly focused, politically immersive academic environment.

His move towards his parents' place of residence aligns with reports that Melania has been constantly keeping "a close eye on Barron." A "political source" who spoke to PEOPLE said the First Lady allegedly "watches Barron constantly in an effort to be sure nobody messes with him or bullies him, as this is a constant worry with her," and that "She always knows where he is and what he's doing."
