A beaver kills a fisherman in Belarus after the unidentified man tried to take a picture of the animal. The beaver bit the fisherman in the leg severing an artery. Unfortunately the 60-year-old man bled to death before reaching a hospital.

According to news.softpedia.com, while attempting to take a photograph of the beaver the animal lunged at the fisherman, biting him.

"A beaver is a wild animal after all," the Telegraph reports Sergi Shtyk the head of the area's wildlife inspectorate as saying. "It was early morning and already light when they saw a beaver by the road, which is unusual because beavers are nocturnal."

After the beaver attacked the fisherman it ran away and the fisherman's friends attempted to bandage the wound. The efforts failed and the fisherman bled to death.

The Daily Mail reports that the fisherman killed by the beaver is the only reported beaver death in Belarus. In the U.S., beaver attacks are much more common. Rabid beavers have attacked a number of humans between 2011 and 2012.
