Formula 1 returns after a four week hiatus and Mercedes-Benz's Lewis Hamilton doesn't skip a beat! After ending the first series of grand prixes with three consecutive pole positions, Lewis Hamilton tackles a rainy Spa qualifying to clinch his fourth in a row.

Weather caused a lot of stress for race strategists as conditions changed continuously. In fact, the rain was so unpredictable during qualifying that it even proposed the delightful possibility of a maiden pole for Force India's Paul di Resta. Ultimately, Lewis starts alongside Sebastian Vettel at the front of the grid. Mark Webber alongside Nico Rosberg make up row two. Third row is Paul di Resta and Jenson Button.

"I was so surprised when I crossed the line," said Hamilton, who won at Hungary. ‘I thought I was three seconds down so I was really caning it. I can’t remember the last time I crossed the line and had such a good feeling.

‘I could see the TV screens and the team were cheering, and though it’s my 31st pole, it still feels like the first one. It’s an incredible feeling.

I feel like I’ve been driving well for quite some time, but I’ve not always had the car to show that. Now, I really feel I’m getting everything out of the car at every opportunity.’
