Apple and Nokia have released their latest smartphones that are the best of their kind, but how do the matchup?

Display

Apple's iPhone 5 comes with retina display,a 4-inch (diagonal) widescreen Multi-Touch display and 1136-by-640-pixel resolution at 326 ppi. Nokia's Lumia 920 has a 4.5 inch Capacitive Multipoint-Touch screen and a 1280x768 display.

Weight

The iPhone 5 is lighter and smaller than the Nokia Lumia 920.

The iPhone is 4.87 inches tall, 2.31 inches wide and 0.30 inches deep compared to Nokia Lumia 920's 5.13, 2.79 and 0.42, respectively.

The iPhone 5 weighs 3.95 ounces, compared to the Nokia Lumia 920's 6.53 weight.

Camera & Video

The Nokia Lumia 920 comes with a main 8.7 Mega pixel Short pulse high power dual LED camera. Nokia PureView camera. The camera has touch focus, landscape orientation, geo-tagging, auto and manual white balance, still image editor, and Optical Image Stabilization. It is also capable of playing back video at 30 frames per second and 1080p resolution. Users will have the capability to share videos to social networks and browse from Youtube.

The iPhone has a 8-megapixel iSight autofocus camera; Panorama; Video recording, HD (1080p) up to 30 frames per second with audio; FaceTime HD camera with 1.2MP photos and HD video (720p) up to 30 frames per second; Face detection in video or still images; LED flash and photo and video geotagging.

Colors

The iPhone 5 comes in two colors - black & slate and white & silver. The Lumia 920 comes in red, white, black, yellow and green.

Connectivity

While the iPhone 5 offers Bluetooth 4.0 wireless technology, the Lumia 920 can only support a Bluetooth 3.0 wireless technology and LTE connections.

The iPhone is offered on Verizon, AT&T, and Sprint's 4G LTE networks. The Nokia Lumia is exclusively available on AT&T's network.

Memory

Both the iPhone and the Lumia 920 have 1 GB of RAM [Correction]. The iPhone can accommodate up to 64 GB of storage, while the Lumia 920 only has 32GB of storage.

Processor

The iPhone 5 features Apple's dual-core A6 processor and the Lumia 920 features a 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor.

Operating System

The iPhone 5 features Apples iOS 6 - "the world's most advanced mobile operating system." The iOS6 integrates all of Apple's features.

The Nokia Lumia 920 will run on Windows 8.

Prices

The iPhone 5 costs up to $399 with a two year contract. The price of the Nokia Lumia is not yet known.
