If you were to dissect the latest awards season, the often headlined story was not about who won what but when and where were Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston spotted together.

First came the rumors of them getting back together, then came the alleged story of them just pretending to date in order to promote some new film they are presumably starring in. While Jennifer and Brad are definitely on friendly terms, them doing a film together is just another fake story from the rumor mill!

Over time, many publications made up stories of the duo planning to make a movie together, without any solid facts backing the claims. The publication Gossip Cop matters in its hands in order to prove that ex-spouses have never discussed teaming up on a project like last month, Grazia published a story that Pitt and Aniston were meeting up on the Sony Pictures studio lot to discuss film projects, but without any substantial proof. So, when separate reps for both Pitt and Aniston have assured that they never met up at Sony Studios and aren’t collaborating on any project.

A similar claim by the tabloid NW last month, wherein it reported that Pitt and Aniston would be “teaming up on movies” was again false. It claimed that the production founded by the ex-spouses back when they were married had got many “old scripts that didn’t get off the ground.” So, now they are, as reported by an anonymous source, selecting scripts, confident that “people would go see [a movie] just because they were in it.” The claims were once again denied bt Pitt and Aniston’s reps.

These rumors go as far back as 2017 in March when Gossip Cop had called out HollywoodLife’s article where they had published a story that the ex-couple was working in an animated film for which they’d both provided their voices.

Not only has the passage of time and the non-appearance of any such film nullified the claims, but even Aniston’s rep had also refused the story: “There are no projects that Jennifer is considering with Brad.” These continuously flimsy and false stories aren’t proof enough that all Brad and Aniston are at the moment are good friends.
