Mexican authorities revealed that Mario Moreno Bernat, 22, grandson of Mexican actor and comedian Mario Moreno, also known as Cantinflas, was found dead in an apparent suicide in a hotel room in Mexico City.
According to information released by the municipal police, an unidentified woman who was staying with Moreno Bernat, reported that she found him hanging with a rope around his neck in the bathroom of room 304 of the Hotel Santa Cruz, in Tlanepantla.
Authorities took the body to the Municipal Justice Center to begin the investigations. They said that Moreno Bernat waited until his female companion left the room and then took his own life. So far there's no record of a suicide note.
Mario Moreno Bernat was the son of Mario Moreno Ivanova and Sandra Bernat. Previous reports claim that in July, 2012 he filed a complaint against his dad for minor corruption. He said that his father allegedly induced him to drugs and alcohol when he was 14 and he wanted him to be prosecuted.
