Eiza Gonzalez became an overnight sensation in the tabloids when she was spotted with Liam Hemsworth in Las Vegas shortly after the announcement of his broken engagement to Miley Cyrus. Gonzalez had recently left her home country of Mexico to pursue a career in Hollywood and caused a splash when she was seen canoodling with the Aussie actor. It could be that the worldwide fame has impacted the Mexican actress in a negative way that she has decided to leave Twitter for a while. "Bye bye twitter for a while," Eiza wrote on the social network. A couple hours later she shared a picture on Instagram citing lyrics from "The Warmth" by Incubus, "Don't let the world bring you down. Now everyone here is that f**ked up and cold. Remember why you came." RELATED ARTICLE: Eiza Gonzalez Vs Miley Cyrus: 7 Ways Eiza Is Mirroring Miley's Career

Eiza Gonzalez decision to leave Twitter comes after news broke that Miley Cyrus still has feelings for her former fiancé. "As time has gone on and the anger subsided, Miley has really started to feel the pain of the split," a source revealed to The Sun tabloid. "She thought about writing some songs, but then decided why not write a letter to Liam to tell him exactly how she feels." The insider added, "Miley says in her letter she still loves Liam deeply and has asked him to meet up. It could be for closure or it could be to start again, but she wants to see him and talk things through."

Miley Cyrus has been the center of conversation ever since her scandalous 2013 MTV Video Music Awards presentation that had the singer dancing around in a skimpy outfit and shedding herself from her Disney persona that we all knew. "Me and Robin [Thicke], the whole time said, 'You know we're about to make history right now,'" the "We Can't Stop" hitmaker said shortly after her performance. "What's amazing is I think now, we're three days later and people are still talking about it. They're over thinking it. You're thinking about it more than I thought about it when I did it. Like, I didn't even think about it 'cause that's just me."

Eiza will be turning down the public updates, but the Hollywood life has already taken over. Just last month the "Amores Verdaderos" star was seen living it up in the Hollywood club scene with Kim Kardashian's BFF Brittny Gastineau. For now Eiza Gonzalez is going to keep a low profile and continue moving forward with her career in film. Gonzalez landed a role in the upcoming movie directed by Adrian Cervantes and titled, "All Hail The Squash Blossom Queen." "Eiza won't play a Hispanic part, but a straight American girl," Cervantes told E! News about Gonzalez's character who will be named Brittany. The director also revealed that the plot is about "a small-town girl who lives to compete in beauty pageants. She'll be facing a huge challenge when her main love interest becomes her biggest opponent at the town's beauty pageant." Are you going to miss Eiza Gonzalez updates on Twitter?
