Daytime talk show host Ellen DeGeneres has put her one-story home in Montecito up for sale on Thursday, Feb. 3, just over four months after buying it, as their neighbors Prince Harry and Meghan Markle consider doing the same.

The home, which is valued at over $13.9 million, has three bedrooms and five bathrooms, with the property described as “chic architecture, soaring ceilings and an incredible indoor/outdoor flow combine to create the ultimate oasis,” according to Hello Magazine.

Though DeGeneres and wife Portia de Rossi have not given a clear reason as to why they are selling their home, they are known to have the reputation of house-flippers, with over 20 properties bought and sold between 2003 and 2011.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who live over 10 minutes from the home, are also considering selling their new home, which is currently valued at $14.9 million and has been theirs in recent years, the Evening Standard reported.

The Montecito enclave is home to many celebrities and wealthy entertainment titans. It is most famously known to contain Oprah Winfrey’s Promised Land estate, reportedly worth $50 million, where she filmed her popular TV specials with Adele, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle.

Other celebrities who are living in the area include the recently-moved-in Gwyneth Paltrow, who reportedly paid $12 million for her property which she has been renovating for years before she moved in.

“It’s like an ancient bathhouse unexpectedly sheathed in these beautiful pale-green tiles with an Arts and Crafts vibe,” Robin Standefer from architecture firm Roman and Williams said. “We love investigating the tension and voltage between things you don’t normally see combined.”

“I use it all the time, and whenever I’m in here I’m like, pinch me. It’s so fun,” Paltrow herself reportedly said about the Montecito property and neighborhood.
