After premiering on Netflix last June 29, “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” has gotten its fair share of following. Two episodes were released each week and this contributed to the growing following of the legal drama series.

The last two episodes of “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” came out on Aug. 17 and 18. Now, followers of the video are left guessing if these were the last episodes of the series.

With “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” originally set for 16 episodes, it appears that the last two ones that came out on the said dates were the last. This comes as sad news for its fan base, especially with the ones who have grown fond of Woo Young-woo.

Actress Park Eun-bin takes on the lead role of Woo Young-woo, an autistic lawyer who takes on challenging cases as a novice for a top law firm. The critically acclaimed actress drew high praise for her performance, something pundits agree is well-deserved.

Hence, the real question now is if “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” will get a second season.

While there will be no immediate new episodes, it appears that fans of the legal drama series just have to wait. A second season is reportedly in the works. AStory, one of the production companies behind the show, reveals that there are plans to create a new season.

“Thanks to the support of many people, we will produce Season 2 of ‘Extraordinary Attorney Woo. The goal is to air Season 2 in 2024,” AStory CEO Lee Sang-baek said to South Korean outlets last Aug. 17.

Hence, fans of the show will have to wait until that time. As of this writing, there is no official confirmation to back up the claim of Lee Sang-baek.

But given is run in its maiden season, there is reason to be upbeat that “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” season 2 will happen in 2024.
