Popular situation comedy series "Friends" is hitting movie theaters on its 25th anniversary.

Fathom Events and Warner Bros. are holding a special screening event for the 90’s TV show’s 25th anniversary entitled, “Friends 25th: The One With the Anniversary”.

The special event will feature 12 of fans’ all-time favorite episodes, remastered and filled with exclusive never-before-seen content, to be screened in more than 1000 movie theaters nationwide at 7PM, Deadline reported.

The screening will run across selected U.S. theaters for three nights: September 23, September 28 and October 2.

The launching night will feature the pilot episode, "The One with the Black Out" (Season 1, Episode 7), "The One with the Birth" (Season 1, Episode 23) and "The One Where Ross Finds Out" (Season 2, Episode 7).

The second night will show episodes "The One with the Prom Video" (Season 2, Episode 14), "The One Where No One's Ready" (Season 3, Episode 2), "The One with the Morning After" (Season 3, Episode 16) and "The One with the Embryos" (Season 4, Episode 12).

The last night will screen "The One with Chandler in a Box" (Season 4, Episode 8), "The One with Ross's Wedding Part 2" (Season 4, Episode 24), "The One Where Everyone Finds Out" (Season 5, Episode 14) and "The One where Ross Got High" (Season 6, Episode 9).

A list of participating theaters will be made available at the Fathom Events website on August 16.

“Friends” is an Emmy-awarded live action TV sitcom that features a group of friends in their comedic experiences and romantic adventures while living in Manhattan. The cast includes Jennifer Aniston (Rachel Green), David Schwimmer (Ross), Courteney Cox (Monica Geller), Matthew Perry (Chandler Bing), Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe Buffay) and Matt LeBlanc (Joey Tribbiani).

The series debuted in 1994 and lasted ten seasons.

Lead star Jennifer Aniston recently shared in an interview with Instyle how the “Friends” series would always make her feel nostalgic.

“I miss a lot about that time. Having a job that was absolute, pure joy. I miss getting to be with people I love massively and respect beyond words,” she said. “So, yes, these days I’m super nostalgic. Anything can make me go, ‘Aww’.”

As the show nears its 25th anniversary milestone, the actress looked back on how it felt the cast and crew when “Friends” was just starting.

“When Friends began, we were all so wide-eyed and bushy-tailed. We couldn’t believe what was happening, and we had no idea what was coming.”
